A country's foreign policy is a set of political goals that seeks to outline how that particular country will interact with other countries of the world and, to a lesser extent, non-state actors. Foreign policies generally are designed to help protect a country's national interests, national security, ideological goals, and economic prosperity. This can occur as a result of peaceful cooperation with other nations, or through aggression, war, and exploitation.

Nominally, creating foreign policy is usually the job of the head of government and the foreign minister (or equivalent).

Would anyone like to write some Foreign Policies for Our Nation to be?.

WHEREAS The free and independent citizens of (insert decided country name) hold personal freedom and liberty to the highest regard; and

WHEREAS (insert decided country name) recognizes the importance of individual expression; and

WHEREAS (insert decided country name) maintains the importance of protecting it's citizens and property from acts of aggression;

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED That (insert decided country name) shall respect the sovereignty of foreign nations; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That (insert decided country name) shall use any means necessary to secure the homeland and protect the safety of its citizens.

This essentially lies out the main aspects - never attack or take-over another nation but still reserve the right to fight for our freedom and independence. Comments and criticisms are always welcome.
